The poster key art for werewolf horror Howl has been a lot of fun to work on. You can probably guess that I’m a huge fan of genre cinema, especially horror, and this project was too good to pass up.

An old school werewolf movie set almost entirely in a claustrophobic train setting, this one’s got some real teeth (sorry)!

Director Paul Hyett has a solid background in special effects for films like The Descent and The Machine, so he knows how to make horror look genuinely good, carefully using a combination of practical and digital makeup effects.

For the posters, I kept things suitably mysterious and subtle, but all the clues are there if you know what you’re looking for 😉

The artwork’s been doing really well online, and it’s now got a fully fledged trailer to go right along with it over at Bloody Disgusting and Dread Central. Trust me, though, it ain’t for the faint of heart.
